Our Team

Robin E. Abrams is a senior executive leader with more than 20 years’ legal and management experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. She joined Agenus as Chief Legal Officer in April 2022. Robin most recently served as General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer at SIGA Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: SIGA) from April 2016 to March 2022. Robin also served as Executive Chair of the Board of Directors of vTv Therapeutics (Nasdaq: VTVT) from December 2020 until she stepped down in June 2022, and, prior to that as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for vTv Therapeutics from August 2016 until December 2020 when she was promoted to Executive Chair. In her roles, Robin’s broad responsibilities included law, compliance, corporate governance, quality assurance, human resources, government relations and corporate affairs. Prior to joining SIGA and vTv, Robin was Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Purdue Pharma where she was responsible for the company’s federal and state government investigations and litigation, and oversaw the regulatory, employment, and compliance groups within the Law Department. Previously, Robin served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York, rising to the position of Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division. During her tenure as a federal prosecutor, Robin spearheaded creation of the Office’s healthcare fraud initiatives. Following a stint living and working for a women’s rights lawyer in Mumbai, India, Robin clerked for Chief Judge Jack B. Weinstein, federal District Court, Eastern District of New York. Robin earned her Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University.

Dr. Jennifer Buell is the President and Chief Executive Officer at MiNK Therapeutics and the Chairman, Executive Council at Agenus. She brings more than 27 years of biopharmaceutical experience, leading teams to advance discovery candidates through to clinical development to commercialization. She was previously President and Chief Operating Officer at Agenus, where she was responsible for organizational operations, including research, clinical development, manufacturing, commercial operations, investor relations and external affairs. During her tenure, she transformed Agenus from a single-product company to a global, fully-integrated biotech company with multiple strategic partnerships. Prior to Agenus, Dr. Buell held leadership positions in R&D operations at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Harvard Clinical Research Institute (Baim), where she was involved in the development strategy and operations for a portfolio of industry and government-sponsored clinical programs. She obtained her Ph.D. in Cellular, Biochemical, and Molecular Biochemistry with an M.S. in Biostatistics from Tufts University.

Stephanie Fagan serves as Chief Communications Officer of Agenus overseeing all internal and external communications to advance the company’s mission to bring curative therapies to patients with cancer. She has deep experience leading corporate affairs and communications in the healthcare industry at Acadia, bluebird bio, Alexion, Shire, Johnson & Johnson, Allergan, Pharmacia (now Pfizer), and Boston Scientific Corporation.

Stephanie is passionate about building and developing the corporate affairs function with high-performing teams that advance business strategies and build durable relationships with stakeholders. Her integrated communications expertise spans public affairs, patient advocacy, media relations, investor relations, social and digital media, public relations, branding, and executive and employee communications.

Stephanie is committed to advancing the communications field and serves as an adjunct professor teaching graduate and undergraduate communication courses at Boston University and Northeastern University. Stephanie received her Master of Science in Mass Communications from Boston University and her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Wheaton College.

Robin Taylor, Ph.D. serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Agenus, leading the commercial team and strategy, drawing on his extensive oncology global development and commercialization experience. His most recent leadership position was in the role of Chief Commercial Officer at Seagen, Inc. where he led the Commercial organization through a period of significant growth in preparation for the launches of PADCEV® (enfortumab vedotin), and TUKYSA® (tucatinib). Prior to this role Dr. Taylor was the Immuno-Oncology Franchise Head in the Oncology Business Unit at AstraZeneca, where he led the global medicine and product teams responsible for IMFINZI® (durvalumab), and IMJUDO® (tremelimumab). Robin spent the greatest part of his career in commercial roles of increasing responsibility at Genentech, a Member of the Roche Group, ultimately serving as the Lung and Cancer Immunotherapy Franchise Head, Global Product Strategy, responsible for the global development and commercialization of ALECENSA® (alectinib) and TECENTRIQ® (atezolizumab) across multiple indications.

Robin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular and Medical Genetics from University of Toronto, a Master of Business Administration from University of California Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science from University of British Columbia.

Homa Yeganegi serves as the Chief Product Strategy and Global Medical Affairs Officer at Agenus. She is an esteemed leader with a deep expertise in building and leading oncology-focused global product strategy and medical affairs, driven by her unwavering commitment to medical excellence and patient care. Prior to joining Agenus, Homa served as Senior Vice President and Global Program Leader at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), where she led the global regulatory submission for repotrectinib in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). She also held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Medical Affairs at Turning Point Therapeutics, where she played a pivotal role in directing the development and commercialization strategies for the U.S. approval of repotrectinib in NSCLC. She also served as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Medical and Scientific Affairs at Halozyme, where she was responsible for the medical commercialization strategy and operational planning of the company’s investigational oncology drug candidate. At Clovis Oncology, she served as Vice President of Global Medical Affairs, leading pre-launch activities for rociletinib in NSCLC in the U.S. and Europe. Homa has built and led oncology-focused global medical affairs teams at esteemed organizations such as Exelixis and Onyx Pharmaceuticals.

Homa’s received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tehran, Iran, and a Master of Science in Neuroanatomy from the University of Western Australia. Currently, she is completing her Doctorate in Health Sciences
